Multi Family Housing Insulation
Receiving the best possible insulation install for your multi-family development isn’t just a good idea — it’s a necessity. When you trust Garland Insulating with your multi-family insulation install, you can rest assured you’re working with the best in the business.
Garland Insulating has more than 70 years’ experience installing multi-family insulation across a wide spectrum of developments including condominiums, town homes, senior living, student housing and high-density apartments. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the best products and practices to provide the best possible insulation installs. We are pleased to partner with manufacturers including:
In 2015 new IECC requirements were put in place regarding one-to-three story multi-family housing buildings. This change in code requires that buildings permitted after August 2015 pass a Blower Door Test on a per unit basis by achieving a much more stringent 3 Air Change per Hour or below in the Dallas Fort Worth metro while Houston, Austin, and San Antonio metros are required to pass a looser 5 Air Change per Hour requirement. It’s vital to get the air seal installation done correctly the first time, as Blower Door Tests are performed after sheetrock has been installed. If your units do not pass the ACH requirements sheetrock typically must be removed, costing you both time and money.
At Garland Insulating we have established essential partnerships with several top tier 3rd party energy inspection companies to ensure all our installs are in line with the 2015 IECC requirements for multi-family properties. We have developed a proprietary system to ensure the best possible seal for each unit within these projects and have not failed a multi-family blower door test since the code was adopted.
Be sure to choose Texas’ best in insulation, Garland Insulating, for your multi-family project.
